• Dixie Motor Speedway in Birch Run hosts car races every Saturday evening mid-April through mid-September
  
• The Saginaw Valley has three championship golf courses, plus a dozen other public courses
  
• Runners can participate in the Volkslaufe in Frankenmuth in July, and the Carrollton Charity Road Races in August
